Drew should not play against GW
If I were Miller....I am Miller's dad....I would not play Drew at all against GW.This would give Drew at least 10 days rest so he will be full strength when we need him. We play GW at home on Saturday so we should easily be able to beat them without Drew. Plus it would be nice to see Dante Jackson get at least 20 minutes in a game.....any thoughts?

It will be interesting to see how well Drew heals up with this week off. He might not need to take the GW game off if the ankle gets better after seven days rest. If there is any soreness at all, I could see it being more like the Duquesne game where he'll only play around 15 minutes or so. This week off could not possibly come at a better time.

With sore ankles, it is better to start and play minutes early as you have the benefit of warmups to loosen the muscles. If you sit him, then need him down the stretch, one risks greater injury.
You got to be ball ready when "showtime" Sherwin Anderson is on the floor.

From what Sean expalined last night on his show, they have had Drew checked out and then rechecked to see if he could do any further damage. I am sure they will error on the side of conservative care but if he can go why sit him and risk him getting rusty.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Wow, sit Drew and there could be a remote possibility that GW pulls the upset at Cintas.
We would have the entire Flyer nation here crying about their 13th position in the A-10. They would have to explain to us why their POY and national award winner wouldn't make the NCAA tournament (for the 4th straight year) let alone the A-10 tournament.
Ok, Drew needs to sit

I'll leave that up to your son.
BTW, on ud pride there is a guy explaaing why so and so is such a bad free throw shooter. Has something to do about placing his finger properly.
Boy, if you two could get together, you could give toe and finger clinics!

Re: Drew should not play against GW
Never, ever play less than your best at any time for any reason. This is not pro football or any pro game. This game is too damned important to not play Drew if he is comfortable playing.
Not playing your best players if they can play is an insult to GW. If the game is lopsided and Xavier has a huge lead, then rest him, but in any event, Sean should follow his usual subbing patterns and just wear GW down. That game at GW was no the bloout last year's game there was.
This is another Duquesne game as Richmond will be. St. Joe's there will be off the charts. Think about it, people. GW is going nowhere, their coach is probably on the hotseat, they've had a really lousy season. What better way to have a successful year than to come in here and beat a ranked Xavier team that's resting on its laurels?
To play less than your best to keep another team from the conference tournament is second class and there is nothing second class about this team. Beat GW and let Dayton worry about Dayton. As it is, the GW game is going to be another trap game and anything less than a best defensive performance by Xavier will result in a loss.
