2007-2008
If there was any doubt before today of our entry into the NCAA Tourney, the 63-59 defeat of GW dispelled that! Regardless of the outcome of the championship game. we're in! Yes, it's a very young team. But now the sophs are basically juniors and the frosh are sophs. Let's get back to the Elite Eight!
Fathers James Hoff and Michael Graham, AD Mike Bobinski, and Head Coaches Staak, Gillen, Prosser, Matta, Miller, & Mack represent a Golden Era of Xavier Men's Basketball. AD Christopher and Head Coach Steele will bring us to an even higher level!

Re: 2007-2008
I was occupied this afternoon but recorded the game and just finished watching it. I am glad I had seen what the outcome was earlier as I am not sure my heart could have taken it. Here are some observations:
I agree with you. But I worry. If Temple wins, I would think GW would certainly still get in. My question then is would they take 3 from the A-10? Something suggests no but I sure hope I am wrong.
With this win we are 23-8; we were 11-3 in conference play. And if I am not mistaken we have won 13 of our last 15 games. We beat a couple ranked teams earlier in the year besides GW. Before this win we had a RPI of 47. I would call than a damn good resume!
And yet as I look at the 2 polls from last week we do not even find ourselves in the also-rans and that scares me. Lack of respect? Yeah I sure think so but that is the fact.
You probably know a lot more about this than I do as I am no expert on women's basketball so you are probably right and I am surely glad. But if there is one thing that will settle any questions it is this ... Go X, beat Temple!

It's just what somebody thinks ...
