In my view when you have a double digit lead, and there is no doubt regarding the outcome of the game, it is time to take your foot off the gas. DePaul Coach Doug Bruno must see sportsmanship another way, or perhaps he has never hear the word. His team full court pressed Xavier until there were only four minutes left in the game despite a greater than 20 point lead and something like 40 points off Xavier turnovers. He didn’t have his players ease up or slow the game down despite the substantial lead, essentially they piled on. I don’t know if Coach Neal said anything to Bruno after the game, but he should have stuck up for his players. I would have a least refused to shake his hand.
