UK vs UConn

Postby muskieman » Wed Nov 24, 2010 11:24 pm

Connecticut 50
# 9 Kentucky 29
at the half
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

UK is showing no serious signs of coming back.

UConn may be the surprise of the season so far.

I agree. I figure they'll be ranked on Monday, with now the second win against a ranked team this week and with an undefeated record.

Surprised might be an understatement. They are giving UK an old fashioned butt kicking.

Shooting almost 60% from the filed gets you a lot of wins

They are both very strong this year. UCON should go from unranked to 14 after beating MSU and dismantling KY.

Tennessee was very lucky against VCU. VCU is the better team but their leading player had an off night. Some of that was D by Ten but it was also just missed shots. VCU also made plenty of stupid mistakes, moving screens and ill advised shots. They are long and athletic and should go at least two rounds deep in the tourney. Then again if they continue to make silly mistakes they might not even make the tourney.
