Looking back to this post before tonight's game w UCLA.
Let's all be thankful and grateful that this team has indeed got past the first weekend and has beaten Huggins' team to be one of 8 teams remaining.
I am happy for this team and I am happy being an X-fan.
Now, let's hope for the gravy.

I just Hope and Pray Sean hasn't let this b/s mentality that "everything else is just gravy" get to the muskies.
Fans want to get to the next level, well the team is a step ahead of us, they expect to win and to win again and still not be satisfied with second. X can play with anyone, they may have to play well and hit free throws but anyone includes ucla and memphis and kansas. If they play sound ball for 40 min then X will only need 2 more wins, then that...the national championship...is the gravy

The basketball world wants X to look out at their opponent and tremble?? Well I see who X plays tonight--a good team that has not had to face an opponent like X during the past three weeks!

X has been battle-tested--including a fierce game with a worthy (and Huggins coached) WVA team who provided as tough a defensive test as X will see tonight. UCLA cannot say the same.

I say let Kevin Love share the mantle with Beasley, Gordon and many others....GO X

I like our image in this game as an underdog in the eyes of UCLA. Perhaps Love and company are looking past us and will come in with a hang-over from celebrating their next victory against Eggsavior.

This game will be won when Duncan finishes without fouling out, Drew drives the lane and dishes or tear-drops, Stanley locks down on defense, CJ makes smart plays down low and DBrown makes 5 offensive rebounds. Our bench will be there as well to bring it all home for the FINAL FOUR!!!

Xavier wins this game with NOPE mentality and more energy than UCLA. See you in San Antonio!!
