He is kind of a blah. Nothing special. On the other hand, he certainly can't be worse than Justin Martin.
You forget who was on that team. In front of Remy was Vic Oladipo, Jordan Hulls and on the bench was Will Sheehey who was just the Big 10 6th man of the year, and Yogi Ferrell a true point guard. Remy would be a very good get for X just like some of the other players coming through Cintas lately.

X has 2 more 'ships and they are looking for players that can be considered an upgrade.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I realize that you are not the person actively recruiting the guy, but it seems wierd to read...
I won't be disappointed if they don't get them. Won't be ecstatic if they do get him.

Most Xavier fans would use 'we' in those 2 instances.

I'm assuming that "they" means the people that have the power to act. As "we" is used as pronoun of the first person plural and an alumnus wouldn't fit in this context.

If I said "we" usually posters would fire back with "you aren't making the decision". I will take Remy Abell. Like I said, he is probably much better than Justin Martin. I just think Mack and company can do better. I will trust the staff.

My kid goes to IU so I watch most of their games on TV. Abell may not be a stud like Oladipo but I think that he would help us. I doubt though that it would be worth burning a scholarship to have him sit out a year so I would have to pass but am ok with whatever Mack & co decide.

guys the question is does Abell help improve the position? Even if it is a slight upgrade it is an upgrade. Could Abell replace someone and make that position better and maybe allow a player to play a position they are better suited for rather than be forced to play a position because you do not have anyone else to play that position?

Sure X wants the MIckey D player the 5 star, the lottery pick but those are not out there for X to get. X can spend all there time looking for that "stud" and never get anyone because the good solid players are gone.

I trust Mack to look at each player and decide which guy fits what he wants to improve.

We all have our favorites "what ifs" let see if the guys they do get can fill X's needs.

I would think that Abell would be a welcomed addition considering the lack of progression of recent and current players (Davis, Martin, Robinson, etc).
