Peck is between Purdue and X but might make his choice known sooner than later, possibly in a week. It is a 50/50 chance but Travis has worked hard to get him on the other hand a lot of peole at PU know him and it is the Big 10.

If X gets Abell they will be very fortunate because SLU can give him starter time and that is what he is most interested in getting at this time.

Also on campus this weekend was Lasan Kromah...the positive here was he knows X from his time in the A-10

If X gets Peck we might know this week if not Kromah might make his decision within a few weeks.

Rick Broering on 100.3 (the fan) this afternoon laid out the possibilty of him coming to X. Thinks they(X) has a real good shot but also said SLU can give him starting minutes which might be the final nod to SLU

As Broering points out, it might come down to more immediate PT (SLU) versus joining a more tournament-likely team in a better conference (XU).

Maybe he did. He cancelled his visit to St. Mary's this week and is down to picking either X or SLU.
