MOR, now we're "girly." N(?) always gets personal when he can't win an argument.
Diff between Bob, Pete, and Skip leaving, and whatshisname leaving?
That trio did it the right way, and with class.
Whatshisname lied. And being a no-show at Father Hoff's funeral was really a lack of class. Pete made it from Charlotesville, and Skip from Wiston Salem. Columbus must have been too far.
And I just laughed my ass off at whatshisname's "cryin' jags" as described in "Tales." A First Class phony!
No, Nuetral (?), I never berated you at anytime if you ever were ever critical of whatshisname during his tenure at Xavier.
And BTW, you sure love to change the direction of the post. As his MM apologist, your excuse that he had to "lighten" the schedule due to losing three players lost out when XU lost three great starters, so ... we change the direction.
BTW, he isnstituted the "one and done" theory of building success, so when they leave, and he comes up short-handed with experienced Juniors and Seniors .... that's his doing. And being a quick learner, he's doing it again this year with the CW kid. Live by the sword, die by the sorwd.
Regards ...

MM apologist....is that muskieman? Kidding
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Can't win an argument? This one's a winner, hands down, to anyone who's not a crybaby, and an adult one at that.
Matta came here, won, won big, and left. He wasn't as forthcoming about his leaving as even he admits he should have been. Wah, wah, wah. Somebody get the baby a bottle.
I can't recall less reason to carry on an unreasonable grudge. I guess I should just be amused by your continuing immaturity on this issue.

Folks, that's lawyer talk for "LIE!"
Read "Tales" and it's there in print, date and time and happenings.
N(?) I am so delighted that he is gone I just have a daily extra of John Jamison, and even a third because we have Sean.
Now that is my finale on your
mis-direction blabber of my original post.

Tales didn't tell any of us anything we didn't already know, or should have known.
I guess you've started already, and missed the fact that it's spelled "Jameson".

Re: Hunting Big (?) Game he is
I'm not sure why Thad's tenure at X has anything to do with the criticism of OSU's schedule. Hopefully most X fans agree with me that Xavier is better off with Sean as head coach. My complaint is that OSU is unwilling to play Xavier in the regular season. I also suspect OSU will get the benefit of the doubt during the seeding process if they have a good record this year. That is obviously not something anyone can blame on OSU but the NCAA selection process. XU did get good seeding the last couple years but those were exceptions and not the norm. You could also argue the better seeding two years back was more a penalty then a favor given that round 2 was against a 1 seed rather than something more favorable. Then again facing OSU was the best match of the 1 seeds for X and we should have won.
OSU will likely have a good season and that is fine but as long as they are unwilling to play Xavier, UD, and UC they deserve criticism.

Re: Hunting Big (?) Game he is
Matta has his work cut out for him with all the turnovers from the last two seasons. Sad to say it, but he looks like he has adopted the Huggins "reload every year" strategy, which is going to bite him sooner than later.
The point and Mullins are his primary puzzle parts. I would be taking it easy on the front end schedule as well, and hoping for good results in league for the NCAA trip.
As for the "George is Very Angry" guys who won't read a chapter of a book because it describes Matta, or even think its funny to pretend they wont, it's so over.

Maybe, but it's not uncommon at all for the big state school not to play other schools in the state. Look at the obvious points-
(1) OSU has little to gain and more to lose by playing X, so there's no incentive for them to schedule us.
(2) X, on the other hand, has more to gain and little to lose, so we'd like them to play us.
(3) OSU already has more than its share of "big-name", TV-ready conference games, so they don't have to front-load their non-conf. schedule.
(4) X's conf. schedule does NOT give us that opportunity, so we need big-time non-conf. games.
Yes, I'd like to play OSU in a non-conf. game, and I'm sure it would be a big attraction, but I can guarantee that OSU fans and alums aren't clamoring for the Buckeyes to schedule us (for several reasons), and OSU can make just as much money, if not more, by scheduling other teams, so it's not like a Xavier game is a guaranteed cash cow, either.
