Jones and Odom both had 18 and Jones was dominating. At one time we were 5 for 25 from 3. Different year same results. Hope I am wrong.

hard to tell from the game. Ferris state is not the Ferris state of Zach Hankins. Jone had like 18 and 10 or 11 rebounds. Odem, I think, had 20 Skyhoops and Kinkel 21 X was up 26 at half with final 100-59
8-28 FROM THREE WHICH IS 28.6% bAD
83.9% FROM LINE 26-31 GOOD
EDWARDS had 7 rebounds, Stanley 8 rebounds, miles 4 rebounds 3 of them O
Kyky bronchitis

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Sources say that Miles did not play well vs a D2 team. For such a supposedly great recruiter Steele has struggled finding bigs.

The team is oozing with talent, and Jerome Hunter is the most important player on the team, especially since Free is sidelined for a while. Regardless, as an athletic big, he should be a significant upgrade in the post-wing extended defensively. Coach Steele also said Miles could be one of the best defensive players in the league, so the message is out: "Don't take it in the paint against X!
Jones and Odom could be the best back court in the league by the end of the year., especially since Bouknight went to the NBA. Apologies to Nova's FC, and me loves Gillespie's game, but he is still a slow, but very efficient, skilled high IQ pg. He needs help to get open looks, and he's lucky he plays for one of the best coaches, who runs sets which gets him a lot of open looks, b/c he wouldn't thrive in a high isolation, hero ball offense. He is a liability defensively, so hopefully X will run ALOT more isolation plays for the guards when X plays Nova, like Wright has expertly done against guys like Bluiett, & Free (as if Steele needs to hear that from me, a very influential moderator).
Also, I hope Odom continues to show the same high IQ as last year and limits 95% of his shots to a 5 foot range. He gets to the rim as well as Semaj, but is much more under control. Shot like Tu from the line last night as well. Jones is a very high IQ guy, and shout be a stat stuffer like James Posey was. Folks, this staff can recruit!
I don't know much about Hunter's offensive prowess at Indiana, but he was 1-5 from 3s, so it seems like Coach's mentality of everyone having the green light will continue in year four. X is now shooting 30% from the 3 against bottom feeder competition, at a clip of 30 hurls a game. Even if X is a great three point shooing team, perhaps it might be wise to work on moving the the ball a bit, knowing that "shots will eventually start to fall" as Coach likes to say. Shame on any one who interprets this as a cynical comment. Coach sees these players more than anyone, so he knows best what kind of offense X should run right?
