Steele has always been a proponent of of firing up threes, regardless of whether they were gassed or not. As Hops said, I'm astounded that they were tired in a scrimmage, especially with the depth on this team. I'm sure there is a logical reason for it, but never heard that before this late into the preseason.
One thing Coach said a couple of days ago, while I have filed away in case I reprise my role as a very successful boy's & girl's CYO coach. . You get the best looks in the first four seconds of the shot clock. To be clear, the last sentence wasn't a very long typo.
