Great statistics. But how about bb fundamentals: crisp accurate passing, blocking out opponents when under the defensive basket ?
they have 6 Off rebounds so someone must be doing their job. BTW for stats comparison X has 12. The thing that is helping MU is X foul shooting missing 11 free throws and 3 of them on the first on the one and one.

Nunge is 4-12
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Xavier is trying their best to give the game to Marquette. Even the best laid plans of mice & men go astray.

Good Time out when Paul dribbles into the corner with two men on him. Need 15 second scoring play out of TO

Odom left his man on the three that got the score to one but makes a great pass outside to Nate for the three. To put X up 79-71

I am not one to predict scores but if you read my first post I predicted X 82-68. Not too bad for a first-timer

Nice win. The Marquette Warriors are always a tough matchup for us. We lose this game without Odom. Still don't understand why Steele had Hunter in instead of going with Odom. I never want to see Hunter shoot a three again, seriously.

Muskieman, that box score is very inaccurate. I can name 3 Fremantle TO’s off. The top of my head. He often played terrible interspersed with the occasional brilliant moment
This team must fine tune a lot of areas of their game.
On paper they have the raw talent to be a very good team, but without that discipline they will slip into mediocrity.

yeah, the top of your head is more accurate than the box score. I understand that box scores can be wrong but maybe that memory is not so reliable. I do agree that Free is inconsistent at times and there are usually a few NOOOOOOYES shots.

Tonight Creighton is top of the Big East with 2 wins(one by forfeit) Uconn beaten by Providence (and PU tried real hard to lose the game) Nova loses, and Seton Hall (forfeit loss),

So as of Monday the bottom 4 teams in the BE are Nova, Uconn, Seton Hall, and Marquette. Bet no one thought they would see that happening
