I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Xavier recruits and transfers
I just saw that Illinois' pre-season AA (Cubello?) hit the portal. Miller likes to play two PGs at one time, so hopefully, he gets a look. I suspect a lot of competition for him though. Nunge has one year left, and there is no true five on the horizon. We need either a two-year transfer or a trad'l HS center. The Miles-Ramsey duo never panned out, though I think Ramsey could have if developed and given a chance.

Re: Xavier recruits and transfers
Not interested he shot under 18% from the 3pt line btw(16.1 and 17.6 in his two years at Il.). That’s abysmal. He also shoots around 30% from the field in total over to years. He has a poor assist to turnover ratio as well 2.3:2.8. not efficient basically and extremely ball-dominant. Illinois went 10-9 in the games he played, and 13-1 in the games he didn’t. Do you really like him?Anti-Homer wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 5:27 pmI just saw that Illinois' pre-season AA (Cubello?) hit the portal. Re: Xavier recruits and transfers
When a preseason AA goes into the transfer portal, I take a look. I'm so busy moderating this Board, I lazily did not even look up his stats. Kudos for your excellent research!muskieman wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 6:07 pmNot interested he shot under 18% from the 3pt line btw(16.1 and 17.6 in his two years at Il.). That’s abysmal. Re: Xavier recruits and transfers
I saw a lot of Illinois games and he seemed to be a weak link. He tied too hard to be the star without the ability to make shots but he never met a shot he didn't like. BTW lame excuseAnti-Homer wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 7:36 pmWhen a preseason AA goes into the transfer portal, I take a look. I'm so busy moderating this Board, I lazily did not even look up his stats. That sounds a lot like another B10 transfer that X got last off-season, doesn’t it? Pass!

Re: Xavier recruits and transfers
not a lot because the guy you are talking about actually shot better from the field and behind the line but the lack of Big Ten teams in any tourney at this point might indicate something. They had the most in the NCAA and none made it to the elite eight

I’d take him in a heartbeat. Sounds like MM just had one of AH’s gummies

Re: Xavier recruits and transfers
yeah, you would take him so you have someone to complain about his 3 point shooting and his ball-dominant tendencies. I'd rather have Joe Toussaint from Iowa, my type of PG, 6-foot guard out of Bronx, New York that is a playmaker on both ends of the court. Tough defensively, a 100% player on the court
