Vote and enlighten us. Especially if you vote Other
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

It’s waaaay to early to say. Especially with a new coach working with a roster he has no experience with.

not like there is a money bet on it. Just getting opinions. Mine will change over time.

It could game to game at least for the Non Con schedule.

Mman,

Once again, you are the straw that mixes the drink of thoughtful discourse. I remain in awe. X has no true cold blood go to guy like West, Crawford, Tu, or Bluiett, but the coach with the 6th highest winning percentage in CBB took a similarly comprised team to the E8 14 yrs ago.

I’ll go out on the limb and say Freemantle will be that guy in the majority of games. He improved his ability to beat guys off the dribble last year, and despite Hop’s unrelenting criticism, I like his ambidextrous half hooks. He just shot it a couple of feet too far last year. He also improved his moves around the rim. He just needs to cut his treys by about 50%.

I still don’t think he is a top two volume player in terms of minutes (that goes to Jones and Nunge) but see him playing 22 minutes one game, and 29 the next.

Keep on inspiring Mman. It’s why I turned down being the lead Moderator of Lehigh’s Fencing message board to remain the Assistant to the Assistant Moderator for this beloved board.

There is only one player coming back from last years team that showed that he could go get his own shot and that is Adam Kunkle. He should be on the list.

Adam Kunkle? His shot selection was the worst on the team.

Strangely Kunkel was Steele's go to guy a lot at crunch time last season and that didn't work out to well. I think the Colby to Jack winning play that secured the NIT Championship was pretty nifty, especially since those two kind of "drew it up in the dirt" on the fly.
I've been seeing Kunkel's name on a lot of the fans starting five list for next season. I really don't see that either. I think Adam will be a valuable player next season and I trust Coach Miller to put him in the right situations to be successful.
Just my two cents, as always.

Love the "Kunk" !! Agree, he will be best coming off bench with energy and instant O. Sure, he will take a bad shot here & there, but I like his gunslinger mentality. When he is on, he is a huge asset. If he is cold, Coach Miller can curtail his minutes in any given game. Fantastic locker room & "chemistry" guy. The young man came within an inch of sinking the game winning shot I believe at end of 1st OT at Providence. I do not fault him for that miss, he had the courage to rise up over Watson and damn nearly was the hero. Hopefully most on this board appreciate his contributions and enthusiasm.

Thanks Lucidity for that most excellent post and all pro Adam points are very valid! I sure didn't mean to come off as anti Adam, so appreciate you filling in the blanks for me. I was a bit pleasantly surprised AK didn't follow Steele to Miami or transfer across the river to NKU in his backyard. I think Coach Miller recognizes the positives he brings to the team as you do.
