@Uconn, @ Creighton, and then Providence

What do you think the win-loss record will be?

Give us your reasons
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I like how we match up against Ucon and they are obviously still trying to figure out how to get back to winning. This game is certainly not a lock but is a game X should win.

Creighton is a great team so we probably lose this 1 at their place.

Providence is talented enough to win this but Xavier has so many weapons that they likely get the W.

I would not be shocked if we lose 2 or even 3 of these but also wouldn't be shocked to win all 3. X needs to move the ball like they have done most of the season, avoid dumb turnovers and stop penetration while also staying with shooters. The last 3 are big asks for this team but if they want to be elite, they will get it done.

I voted 3-0 but actually would be happy with a 2-1.

I think that after listening to Sean rip them a new one about their defense, they play "lights out" against UCONN and hopefully will carry over to the BlueJays

I hate to say it but I think 1-2. We have really struggled the last two games against the two worst teams in the league. All away games in the Big East are tough. Even Jones is getting burned on defense. We can't defend the pick and roll. It's like we have cement feet. We can't stay in front of anybody. Freemantle and Nunge let their man catch the ball 4 feet in front of the basket. They either score or draw a foul .The team is tired too. We don't have the same jump we had earlier in the season. Need more time for the bench guys. Miller needs to trust them a little bit.

Xavier is averaging over 80 points a game and field goal % shots made is usually above 50%....if they do that they go 3-0. If any game X's final scoring is 75 and or significantly below 75 points by X , they will lose. I expect at least one down game on X scoring below 75...thus i voted X to go 2-1.

1-1 in the next two and i'm just not sure which one we will win but i think we have a better shot at beating UConn than Creighton. Providence are frauds and we should win there.

that's all i got right now. :)

If we have to score 90 points to win I do not like our chances in any of the games. I will rooting behard for the Muskies in person tomorrow vs UCONN.

I'm curious how the individual who says Nunge and Free let their guy catch the ball 4' from the rim and they either score or get fouled, reconciles that with the 20 pts in the paint scored by Georgetown? Nunge almost never gets in foul trouble. Free rarely is in foul trouble.

It is also worth noting that some of the deep touches are because the bigs are rotating to stop the ball. Guards are not keeping their man out of the paint. I'm not suggesting either Nunge or Free are dominant defenders but I disagree that this is the primary flaw in their defensive game.
