AP top 25
It's nice to see a familiar name at #22. Now let's hope we improve upon that number this week!
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Glad to see we passed the first test after making the top 25.
Winning tomorrow will be huge to maintaining the ranking and possibly improving it. Significantly more publicity when ranked. Great for recruiting.

X Needs to win tomorrow to give the Big East some positivity this week. Uconn and Creighton lost today with UConn's second loss in the Maui tournament. Creighton has two losses, and both were butt-kickings.

Even though it is not good for Big East, I don't mind seeing cry baby Hurley lose.

I feel the same way, even though he is a Bengals fan. If you watched the last two games, you saw how poor the referees are in college basketball because one play in each game was almost identical, but one was a foul, and one was not. Both plays factored in the game's outcome. The one called a foul was not, and the one not called was a blatant foul with a player over the back holding the other player down with a hand on the shoulder.

Agree with MM about the refereeing at Maui. I also agree Hurley needs to cool it. He is totally out of control and the refs allow him to get away with it. If anyone else acted like he does they would be Teed up twice and out of the game.Creighton looks awful. The big guy looks lost. He almost looks bored and he has no energy on either end. X is a 2 pt dog tonight vs Michigan, I guess I agree with that. They start two 7 footers who can play and that will be a challenge. Hopefully we can cause them some match up problems with our quickness and depth at the guard positions. I do not expect much from Hugely. Unfortunately he seems to lack coordination but we are going to need help in the front court going forward. Lastly, it appears Maddox is in Sean's dog house. I know everyone thinks Green is such a great shooter but I am not convinced. In any event he is too small to play at this level, Foster to me is the man if we are going to make a splash in the Big East. I like his game and maturity he just needs to exert himself offensively. Let's Go X!!!

Agreed on Danny Hurley. He is over the top and far-too profane. While every game is important, he fails to realize UConn gets more than their far share of calls. Being intense is fine, routinely going ballistic is not.
Sadly, someday he’s going to crash-and-burn. Could you imagine if he took the Lakers job? Guessing the under/over on his Pro Coaching career would have been set at 40 1/2 games.
Incidentally, Coach Chris Holtmann has DePaul playing as a team. The players share the ball well and value possessions. Admittedly, while 7-0, to date their schedule has been soft. The first real challenge will be next Wednesday at Texas Tech in the Big East - Big 12 Battle.
Go Muskies!

I completely disagree. The over the back call was obvious and Hurley losing his ***** over it was ignorance. Plenty of bad calls happen every game but that was, without question, the correct call.
