Monday's game between Saint Francis and Xavier marks the 10th meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 1955-56 season.

The game that has always stuck n my craw was Jan 31, 1994 a bus trip to PA in the snow X loses 77-73 I think of it every year when e play a "Sure win" game. This team had Brian Grant, Tyrice Walker, Michael Hawkins, Jeff Massey, Larry Sykes, Pete Sears, Steve Gentry, DeWaun Rose and Eric Edwards all were Jrs and Srs. Tyrice Walker led the Musketeers with 26 points. Jeff Massey (20 points) and Brian Grant (15 points, 15 rebounds). The team had to push the bus out of a snow drift. Never should have lost this, but travel and time were the enemy. I have more stories about this game but let me sum it up...It sucked. OH and Pete Gillin's last year at X

Don't remind me of 1994 the game I bring up when players and fans say we got this one.

Well St. Francis is awful but a win is a win. Anderson was by far the best player on the court and looked like he could have scored 40 points. Not sure if it helps playing a team like that. Looked like Milicevic was kind of lost. We need him to play at a high level every game .Moore is playing well even if he seems very shy about shooting. Happy to see Panoam get a little time. Robinson looks like this is his first year of playing basketball. He doesn't know how to take advantage of his big body. We need to get tougher fast.

I agree with Kevin. Both Robinson and especially N'Daiye look look like they just stared playing basketball last year. We really need a rim protector and post presence so maybe Robinson will evolve. Hopefully, Jovan will gain his stroke back and Phillip will just rebound and facilitate and not shoot. Our defense was not good last game and we just can't keep our man in front of us. I'll be there Friday, but I'm not optimistic based on our D and no inside players. We are improving.
