UC had some (W's=Big E upsets) through mid season which gave Cronin a sense of security but the wheels fell off, team imploded, mirrors used were broken, and the Bearcats became the Cincinnati Adam H's!

Y. Gates disagrees.

UC could have said the same thing many times over the years.
Poor Yancy. In his teams loss tonight to St. X Yancy gets fouled with a couple of ticks left, team down 51-50, looks at his bench tells them it's over, promtly bricks 2 shots, pulls off shirt, goes balistic, has a little tantrum and runs off the floor. Nice. Maybe he was telling the bench I have no chance to make these shots.

Sunday’s 45-point margin of defeat was the worst for UC since the Bearcats lost to Denison, 78-29, on Feb. 14, 1913.
As a resident of Newark just 7 miles from Granville where Denison is located I am upset that UC ruined this great piece of Denison history!

Worry not, Somebody, the Denison mark is still in tact. The UCONN demolition of the UC pitty train was 45 points today. Denison beat the sUCk squad by 49.

I kind of agree with MichiganXman on this one. I recall hearing UC fans say that there was no benefit to playing Xavier once they started being noticed on the national stage. We were regional and they our grew us. Or so the argument went. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, it is a good time to remember that times change, people change, (hairstyles change)

Let's appreciate the rivalry for what it is and keep inviting UC to an annual beating.
You got to be ball ready when "showtime" Sherwin Anderson is on the floor.

watch yourself 9822...if you don't praise X in every single post or give any type of credit to another school, you will be accused of not being an X fan.

Looks likes Gates made the perfect decision with going to UC. He will fit in well there.

Awfully defensive of the Bearcats this evening, aren't you michiganXman?

Other recent quotes of yours, michiganXman include:
"...a couple close games (St. Joes at home and @ Charlotte) we benefitted from some very "questionable" calls."
"...the A-10 is a lot worse than we all thought."
"...I guess we should just be happy making the tournement like years past..."
"...you earn respect by winning in the NCAA tourney, which historically, we have not done a whole lot of."
So I'm not the only one who thinks michiganXman is a UC troll.

Agreed. His subversive comments documented above caught me at the wrong time. I don't take well to imposters, nor anybody trying to denigrate the fantastic season Miller & Co. have had.

Incidently, the 45pt. disrobing that very few had the pleasure of watching yesterday because UC lost its TV contract is a Big East record. Mick had to be displeased.
