Re: First Half Thread
UD has nothing besides Roberts; stop him and you stop the team. We did that, so we have a big halftime lead (even though we are up 18, I think UD should be happy to not be down 40). Hopefully this continues in the second half so we can get the win.

god it sucks to be a flyer fan sometimes. it's like dating a hot chick that constantly cheats on you, but you're too dumb to walk away.

It's always great to hear Gillen, likely the most verbally entertaining Xavier coach in our lifetimes. Wish he'd do more of our games.

Re: First Half Thread
UD's board gave up hope at about the 10 minute mark. They are complaining about how they are wounded (which they are with the loss of Wright and Little) as well as claiming that Binnie and Roberts have the flu. Lastly, the ref's are calling to many "weak" charges. Basically the usual whining when they are losing.
Also listened to Seth Davis at half talk about the A-10 and how strong it is this year. He thinks 3-4 teams have a great shot of getting in. He mentions that there were some great wins in the non-conference like UD's wins against Pitt and Louisville as well as UMass' win at Syracuse. As usual, XU handing IU's only loss this season is forgotten.
Oh well, I can't complain with the way we are playing tonight. It's huge that we can get rest for Burrell and Lavender. That should help us quite a bit with the short turnaround for UMass on Sunday.

This loss was certainly at least as bad for UD as our loss to Temple. If I were a UD fan I would have been disgusted by UD's performance. But I am not a UD fan.
Actually, it was a relatively dull game overall.
