That was it. Digger came over to Big Jim to complain.
It was more than that: Phelps theatrically threatened to take his team off the court because of imagined thuggery on the part of Xavier. In reality, it was his team that was playing like a bunch of thugs. I remember Tay Baker capitulating, apologizing profusely to Digger for something that his team in reality was not responsible for.

From that day onward I have seen him as a bully. Phelp's treatment of Lunardi yesterday is in keeping with his character. At least he no longer wears those assinine three-piece-suits.

I now know what it means to say A MIND IS A TERRIBLE TO WASTE AS YOU GROW OLD.

Actually it was the wise Damon bailey....X scored with @ 9 seconds left, Damon Bailey moseyed over to get the ball, by the time he actually had the ball and was OB to pass it in, the game clock was already under 5 seconds...this led to the current rule of the clock stopping in the last minute after a hoop

Brian,

I remember the Bailey stunt, but didn't Knight intimated a ref with about 2 or 3 minutes left and then they made a "make good" call against us right after?
