Boubacar Resurfaces

In the "Inside College Basketball" section in this week's Sports Illustrated, the author writes about the Morgan State's making the NCAA field and notes that their senior center is former Muskie Boubacar Coly who leads the league in rebounding (11.1 per game) and has 76 blocks. Boubacar, you may recall, had at least one knee operation and never really recovered enough to contribute at X. I think the parting was a friendly one from both perspectives. In any event, it's nice to see that he's doing well. I'll be rooting for Morgan State in the tourney (unless they play the Muskies). Morgan State is coached by former Cal coach Todd Bozeman who is attempting to rebuild his career after being caught cheating while at Berkeley.

morgan state lost last night to coppin state...i think they'll be out, won't they? anyway, they showed a minute of the game on sportscenter and showed coly trying to block a couple shots but missing. i checked out his stats on espn.com, and they had him listed as a junior? seems like he's been in college 14 years...
