Year of the seniors

Postby brownlavender » Mon Mar 17, 2008 12:28 pm

If were going to San Antonio our seniors will have to step up and play big every game. Our first matchup, one that i'm not that concerned about, has a 6'1'' guard who seems to be there whole team in Sundiatat Gaines. He leads the team in points, assists, and rebounds (yes a 6'1'' guard leads the team). Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like this who is gonna be Stanley's next victim. 2-15 shooting 4 turnovers and 3 rebounds. If Stanley can make him put up those numbers they don't stand a chance. Granted the won 4 games in 3 days. They are gonna be on a high all week just to be in the tourney. That's the wrong mindset to play us. Here's hoping we get to play duke again in the sweet 16, our lockdown perimeter D, 35% guarding the 3 point line would most likely destroy duke and put us in a very tough game against UCLA. Probaly the most talanted team in the country but are due for a letdown because all the calls have gone their way the past 2 weeks. After that were on to San Antonio

The point of a school like X HAVING seniors is that they have to use that experience to lead, and now's the time for Stan, Drew and Josh to step.

As LC said so correctly, "if now isn't my time, I'm not going to have a time". If any of our guys grabs the moment like LC did, we'll be fine.
