I guess Dick lost more than his voice this year.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Maybe they were discussing Italian League players.

They must of removed it because his name isn't on that post anymore. Dipsy Doo Dumbass. Go ACC baby There's no possiblility of a sleeper in this tourney baby the final four will be all ACC baby. Time for him and Digger to retire I've been tired of their ACC rants for years

When you go back to Sunday night's rant against the selection committe by the ESPN talking heads, it was interesting to note that the "experts" were from

ACC-Bilas
B10/B12-Knight
BE-Phelps
ACC-Davis

What a shocker that that group felt that some of the BCS midlevel teams had been screwed over in favor of non-BCS teams. I guess they want ALL the at-large bids, not just 28 of 34.

Its time for Vitale to retire. The guy just doesn't have anything good to say about teams outside the Big 6 conferences, especially the ACC.

For Example:

Who is the best dunker?

Bilas: Russell Westbrook, UCLA
Davis: Derrick Brown, Xavier
Fraschilla: Derrick Brown, Xavier
Gottlieb: Chase Budinger, Arizona
Rankin: Derrick Brown, Xavier
Vitale: Stanley Robinson, UConn (Big 6)

Who is the best glue guy, the one who keeps the team together?

Bilas: Haminn Quaintance, Kent State
Patrick Ewing Jr.'s numbers won't wow you, but his game will.
Davis: Patrick Ewing Jr., Georgetown
Fraschilla: Mario Chalmers, Kansas
Gottlieb: Max Paulhus Gosselin, Davidson
Rankin: Danny Green, North Carolina
Vitale: Cliff Hammonds, Clemson (Big 6)

What mid-major is most likely to pull a George Mason '06

Bilas: Drake Bulldogs
Davis: Drake Bulldogs
Fraschilla: Kent State Golden Flashes
Gottlieb: Drake Bulldogs
Rankin: Drake Bulldogs
Vitale: None

What double-digit seed will make the Sweet 16?

Bilas: No. 10 Arizona Wildcats
Davis: No. 11 Saint Joe's Hawks
Fraschilla: No. 10 Davidson Wildcats
Gottlieb: No. 11 Saint Joe's Hawks
Rankin: No. 11 Kansas State Wildcats
Vitale: None

Who are your sleeper Final Four picks?

Bilas: Notre Dame (East), Xavier (West), Michigan State (South), Wisconsin (Midwest)
Davis: Louisville (East), UConn (West), Michigan State (South), USC (Midwest)
Fraschilla: Notre Dame (East), Xavier (West), Marquette (South), USC (Midwest)
Gottlieb: Washington State (East), Xavier (West), Pitt (South), Clemson (Midwest)
Rankin: Washington State (East), UConn (West), Pitt (South), Wisconsin (Midwest)
Vitale: I only consider teams seeded fifth or lower as sleepers, and I don't think any will make the Final Four.

He just comes across as someone to set in their ways, who is not open to anything different than what he believes is reality.

FWIW:

Don't know how good of a defender he is at Kansas but Dickie V.'s nod went to Mario Chalmers, who I recall is a cousin of X's Lionel. Doesn't seem to be confusion about Vitale knowing the Jayhawk's actual name.

That is right; he originally had Lionel as best defender and it said (Xavier) so he was told no Lionel at X so he picked Mario.

Now Mario was not even the DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR for the Big 12 and so the coaches in the Big 12 don't agree with Dickie-
Marcus Dove, Oklahoma State, G/F, Sr., 6-9, 215, Long Beach, Calif./Millikan

he was on the all defensive team and 2nd team Big 12.

We all make mistakes...he is just a master at it.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
