I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

And the streak of graduating seniors continues!

Not sure if these guys knew beforehand how satisfying graduation is, but once they put that cap and gown on, and hear their name called as they go up to receive the diploma, it starts to sink in.

I was at a college graduation yesterday, and to see how proud the families were of their son/daughter, and how happy the grads were, it makes it all worthwhile.

Kudos to all our grads.

Congrats to the 3 graduates. It makes us all proud that you showed the same commitment to academics, as you did to athletics. Continue to do us proud. Your Xavier degree will open doors for you that you have been EDUCATED to enter into news arenas with confidence.

The smiles on he faces of the five graduates and the accompanying pride as they accept those skins from Fr. Graham make me smile as much as the thought of any of the team's past victories. In a sense those ceremonies and the achievements they celebrate are what Xavier is all about. And I like to think they are possibly the greatest recruiting tool we have.

Congrats to all the graduating seniors. Getting the diploma is what it is all about. Too bad so many other universities miss that goal.
