Not entirely flattering, but interesting.

And former IU players apparently feel that they should play a BIG role in selecting coaches. Interestingly, when they talk about "Indiana basketball", they bring up how Butler plays!

I thiought the Big East was suppose to be the best league in college basketball. Why would a coach want to move out of the league...didn't it happen last year too! From the article, "Crean chased so many jobs", why isn't the Big East an end game job?
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

The Big East is the best league in college basketball, but IU is still a better job than Marquette (just like how UCLA will always be a better job than Pittsburgh or Duke is a better job than Syracuse, or Penn is a better job than UC). IU is probably a better job than any Big East job as far as the money available, the history, the local support, the alumni base. Not only that but it is probably a lot easier to have a winning program at IU than in the Big East, at least in regards to it is easier to win a Big 10 title than a Big East title.

Biff when IU puts 25,000+ in the stands then they will be better than 'Cuse as far as fan support. IU has a history of greatness I will not argue but they are reaping their reward of the Knight debacle. Watching IU over the past few years don't impress me as a better job.
