Xavier beaten again by UC

Ranked X beaten by a team with one point guard. UC ownes X in the women's game.


Couldn't put the ball in the ocean down the end of the game. Out scored something like 17-4 at the end.

McGuff will continue to lose the shootout as he is outcoached. We came into the game with the same plan as we have for every game. Get the ball into T'shia Phillips. UC game plan was take T'shia out of the game and they did. This will happen all year until we get a second alternative when we cannot get the ball into T'shia.

I know I'll get grief for saying this, but it seems like McGuff may be a better recruiter than game coach, similar to Ron Zook at Illinois.

just a reminder...X is without 6'6' amber harris this season. i've been to a couple of women's games and i think they play great ball..at UC the game was close until late in the game uc went on a 9-2 run with some 3 balls to put the game out of reach for X...and...vs Michigan St. they passed out 'light switch covers' which read something about .....BACK 2 BACK A10 CHAMPIONS!
