I had no idea that Jay Wright tweets a lot during our games, but thanks for sharing. Regarding his observations:muskieman wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 8:42 pmthat was a hope, not criticism like the guy that said: BTW for an experienced player, Scruggs dribbles the ball into the Bermuda Triangle under pressure (not just this game) a lot. Yeah, Paul only shot 50%from the field and scored 19 points. or maybe the one where someone said "I love Nunge's game, except for his three-point shooting. He took only two but was 2-5 from the field and 4-4 from the line playing well with Zach. then there was "He(miles) also needs to shelve the 18 footer which led to a 4-second conversion on the other end." but go ahead and be critical of one comment. BTW enjoy the W and the good job the coaches did managing the game.Anti-Homer wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 7:49 pmAgreed.muskieman wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 7:23 pmIt is a shame that you guys cannot enjoy a win in the first game on the road. Every game comes with its pluses and minus in this game the plus was a W and the minus is how you can't enjoy it. In March the committee will look at this game as a road win which is all X wants. They did what they were supposed to do. Maybe we should call you the pissers and moaners.
Especially this harsh, unwarranted criticism, "Miles need to get deeper in the block." Absolutely no need for this kind of bashing.
What does his shooting, which turned out good after an ugly 2-8 start, have to do with his dribbling into the worst spot when pressured? He will see on film how Jones generally backs up when he sees the trap, dribbles towards or passes to someone in the middle. Coach Hugo Boss was spot onBTW for an experienced player, Scruggs dribbles the ball into the Bermuda Triangle under pressure (not just this game) a lot. I believe what Coach Wright meant is that he'd rather Jack shoot in the paint, where he shoots 60%, rather than from three where he shoots about 20%. I think 1 every 2 games or so with a wide-open 3 is ok but would love a 7-footer generally around the glass."I love Nunge's game, except for his three-point shooting. He took only two but was 2-5 from the field and 4-4 from the line playing well with Zach.
This, I take a little exception with. Like Hunter with his treys, if X has a 46 or more point lead, I say fire away."
"He(miles) also needs to shelve the 18 footer which led to a 4-second conversion on the other end."
BTW MMan, did you like Hunter's early in the shot clock three, when the goal should have been to bleed the clock?
