Sean Miller a Top 20 Coach

Postby olsingledigit » Sat Oct 01, 2022 11:35 am

The Athletic has ranked the best coaches in the country for Men's College Basketball. Their top tier of 8 coaches all have a national title. But Sean Miller is firmly ensconced in the second tier of 10 coaches. So a top 20 coach in the Country. Here is what the write-up says about Sean Miller:

A run at a long-awaited Final Four and national title is about the only missing element for Sean Miller, now back for a second stint at Xavier. “There’s really no weakness to what he does,” the industry source says. “He’s one of the top 20 coaches in the country. Easy. Maybe higher.” Or as one agent put it: “He’s a really good coach. He won at Xavier, won at Arizona and he’s going to win at Xavier again and never leave.”

It's almost Miller Time! Go X!

So people with opposing viewpoints arent allowed to post?

Hiring a coach who got fired from his previous job for rarely works out well in college hoops.

We get it you don't like Sean Miller. That is what all your posts express. Miller is going to be here a while, so how about adding some insight on the team, etc. Any insider info? You really have become a one trick pony.

This is at least the 3rd or 4th (maybe more, I’ve lost count) different thread that you’ve posted up on expressing your dislike of Miller and belief that hiring him was a mistake by the administration. How many more times are you going to express the same thoughts? How many more threads are you going to derail expressing the same thoughts? You know the definition of insanity, right? So why not try something new and different by expressing a different thought? A different observation or some new insight? Being redundant is just annoying. If we had someone in the past that came on here and in every thread had expressed their love for Steele, it would have been just as annoying. When people came on here in the past and brought up the same objections to Mack over and over again, I found that annoying too. Express an opposing viewpoint when you have one, no problem. It’s a discussion board. We shouldn’t expect everyone to agree on everything. But over and over and over again the same thing, on every thread, no matter what the thread is about? For heavens sake, give it a rest.

Top 20 feels accurate to me. He was the best coach X has had. Hoping he accomplishes even more this time around.
