Something is not right with McKnight. He doesn't seem himself the last 7-8 games.

Every starter for X was in double figures, and the bench also had double-figure scoring as a group. Only negative was that Colbert and my guy Cam were held scoreless
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Looks like I jumped the ship to early with McKnight. He had a very good second half. As much as I talk about Swain and his matador defense he had his best game of his career. Nice to win no matter who we play. Good day for the Muskies.

Kevin, Xavier did their best to make muskieman look wrong about shooting 60% from the field for the game coming in at 58.8% Now a Georgetown and Nova losses would make a good afternoon great.

Muskieman it is amazing how well you can shoot when you take the ball to the basket. LOL All five starters were driving to the basket and getting high percentage shots. It helped that DePaul doesn't have a big shot blocker but I love the mindset of driving to the basket. I have doubted the team plenty of times this year but maybe they can get hot and sneak into the tournament. Good day for X

All starters have double points, and bench also scores double points

Kevin:

I don’t know that you or I jumped ship too early on McKnight. He was taken out of the game at 13:46 in the 2nd Half, when Conwell came in for McKnight. Up until that point he was clearly ineffective and then did not return until 9:18. That was a fairly lengthy stretch to sit for a PG. From that point on McKnight scored 10 of his 14 points. Maybe a message was sent?

Incidentally, DePaul guards are, at best, mediocre defenders. Still glad McKnight closed strong because it is exactly what he has contributed in the past. However, as accurately noted, not so much recently.

Yes, a good day today for the Musketeers.
