DAYTON IS MOVING PAST US

Postby Wisexuowl » Thu Feb 28, 2008 7:07 pm

Among all the blogs on DD's site, a ud loser, probably Joey, posted an article from the DDN how the Flyers beat XU and Sean for a big time recruit.

He put his own headline on the post, something like ... UD beats XU and Sean Miller For Top Recruit.

That wasn't the headline, have no idea that Sean even "offered" and seriously doubt that since this next "Savior" for them is just finishing his sophomore year. And why6 is ud allowing BG to pass out scholarships to players when it has not be determined that he'll be there to coach them.

Also, insofar as being what he is ... Scout.com gave him ... drum roll please ...ONE STAR.

But, it might just be that they have passed us as a program with this verbal, and best we enjoy what success we have right now before they dominate!

Wise they need something to keep up the hope...one star.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

That is what I like about ud fans, they are always looking ahead with their collective heads in the clouds. Goodness knows, as crappy as their program is, they don't want to look behind.

UD has passed us as a program. The trouble is, they are on a fast elevator going down while ours is an equally fast one going up.

The recruit they got is a nice little player but his impact will be like a down pillow cushioning the crash as they strike the basement floor in the elevator car!
Fathers James Hoff and Michael Graham, AD Mike Bobinski, and Head Coaches Staak, Gillen, Prosser, Matta, Miller, & Mack represent a Golden Era of Xavier Men's Basketball. AD Christopher and Head Coach Steele will bring us to an even higher level!

UD fans used to live in the past, only to switch to living in the future. All the while, there's a present that never arrives...

wow, wise. no i didn't post that but thanks for calling me a loser. appreciate it.

chick ludwig wrote the article, not sure why he would lie in the article and say that miller had offered. maybe you should e-mail chick and ask him for his source.

i'm sure since you hadn't heard miller had offered that must surely mean he didn't. after all, you are "wisexuowl."

Joey, Joey, Joey ....
He (the writer) has no source, and I believe that NCAA rules prohibit college coaches talking about recruits until they are signed .... writing that XU offered is probably a plant for BG.
How do I know Miller didn't offer ... hell, we don't seek out one star's.

That's UD's turf!

To be honest X was recruiting him. I think he is friends with Wright and saw what we have coming in next year and probably wouldn't have started at X at least until his junior year. He'll probably start from day one at UD with or without Gregory at the helm.
