Because they brought an imposter team to Cincinnati, just rolled over and cowered in the face of the Mighty Musketeers. It wasn't even any fun!
Those bastards robbed me of my satisfaction and fun. Corn Bin-nie and Hoolsman are so lousy, it was too easy. Damn.
Xavier just took care of business and carved those charlatans up. Dante Jackson is growing up before our eyes. 16-4. Let's go to UMass and take care of some more business.

Hey MOR: what would you do if one of your senior players had his outside shot blocked, made no effort to retrieve the loose ball, then "hustled" back to give up a dunk to the guy who blocked the shot ? Lots of heart Binnie.

SLU no longer the whipping boy of the A-10. 18 points and your best shooter 2 points. If you want to use 2 players hurt (Gregory)as an excuse then that Pittsburg win in your house was suspect. 18 points in the 1st half.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Best defense I've seen this season. The score could have been worse. You're right MOR, Binnie was pathetic. He's a D1 player????????

Re: Another Reason to Hate u dump
People talk about the cryers missing some of their players, yada, yada, yada...What about last year, when Xavier waxed dayton in the Cintas, we did not have Josh Duncan or Adrion Graves...When we beat them up there, we did not have Graves or Love...Like people say, let the excuses fly...They hype their tainted wins over Louisville and Pitt about how great they were and each of those teams was missing at least 2 starters...Another pathetic display, from a team that has not won an NCAA game, or produced an NBA player since 1990...

Someone mentioned that Binnie was hitting all his threes before the game and at the half and I told him he is good....when he doesn't have a defender.

yeah, pimp, love and graves LAST year are equal in importance to little and wright this year. you're kidding, right? with a healthy roberts and with little and wright at 100 percent, ud probably still loses tonight at the cintas. but not by twenty six. in fact, i would go so far as to say the game would still have been in question with under 5 minutes left. you apparently didn't watch the pitt game. much like x tonight would most likely (in fact just about 99 percent certainly) have won tonight no matter what, the same was true for ud against pitt. we would have still won that game, just not by 25. levance fields went out with 16 minutes left in the game and ud up by 13. no way x drubs ud by 26 with all of ud's key players at 100%. both contests would have been much closer.
i just love it how x fans dismiss ud's victory over pitt as if ud would certainly have lost that game had pitt been healthy, yet say we are making excuses as to why we lost tonight. ever hear of the pot calling the kettle black?

Pitt had two men out and their big guy in foul trouble. I watched that game and if you want to diminish the Xavier game then you better be ready to diminish the Pitt game. You have had a few games to adjust to your losses which tells me you think your team stinks without Little and Wright.joeybaloney wrote:yeah, pimp, love and graves LAST year are equal in importance to little and wright this year. you're kidding, right? with a healthy roberts and with little and wright at 100 percent, ud probably still loses tonight at the cintas. but not by twenty six. in fact, i would go so far as to say the game would still have been in question with under 5 minutes left. you apparently didn't watch the pitt game. much like x tonight would most likely (in fact just about 99 percent certainly) have won tonight no matter what, the same was true for ud against pitt. we would have still won that game, just not by 25. levance fields went out with 16 minutes left in the game and ud up by 13. no way x drubs ud by 26 with all of ud's key players at 100%. both contests would have been much closer.

JoeyB......
Xavier played a very average game. There was little motivation after they jumped out to a 10 point lead at 16-6. If they played well, it would have been 40.
Get you kids healthy and hopefully you will get a shot at us in Atlantic City. In the mean time, shut the heck up. 4 in a row.........13 out of 16.

Re: Another Reason to Hate u dump
pitt had one guy out starting the game - mike cook. fields went out with 4 minutes gone in the second half and ud up by 13. ask any objective person who watched the game if ud wouldn't probably have won anyway had that not happened. hell the espn announcers pointed that out themselves that ud would have beaten nearly anyone the way they played that night.
again i'll try to explain it to you one more time.
roberts was obviously sick(this flu thing was posted on udpride the last couple of days), and little and wright were out. ud was leading the league in rebounding margin going into the game and got outrebounded by 19 tonight. wright and litttle were ud's leading rebounders. correlation, maybe? again, i doubt ud would have won anyway with all three players at 100%(x is dynamite at home) but it would have been a much closer game. if you can't see that then you are lacking in any sense of logic.
winning on the road in college basketball is a bi*ch. you will see that on sunday when x loses at umass.
if lavender had the flu on sunday, and brown and duncan were out with broken bones, how well do you think x would fare?
